Irish Watercolors

I will always hold dear The Vale of Clara, how the first sight of this valley in County Wicklow, Ireland grabbed me and held me for weeks in a hypnotic gaze. Those moody clouds, constantly shifting over its undulating mountains, compelled me to splatter with my watercolors and gouache, not to think so much as to dance.

My brushes flew; the colors chose themselves. Six hours seemed like one!
