As a painter the physical expression of death and near-death experiences is both gut wrenching and humorous. Looking at skulls, bones and skeletons have given me source for fun and also insight, and have helped me recall events in my life. This series tells of an intense encounter with mortality at a vulnerable adolescent age; a time that would shape the remaining years of my life.
